Terms of service

Last updated: · Terms version: 2026-11-04

Our services are sold to businesses and professionals.

These terms apply to every order on challengemyseo.com.

1. Who is who

“We” and “us” mean William Giovannini, trading as challengemyseo, Via Polesine 61, 37134 Verona VR, Italy. “You” means the business or professional named in the brief form at checkout.

When you order, you declare that you're buying for your business, trade or profession. If that isn't true, tell us before you pay and we'll cancel.

2. What you're buying

A job is defined by three things: the product page, the cap shown there (URLs, pages, hours, working days), and the brief you confirm at checkout. If the brief and the marketing text disagree, the brief wins. Anything outside the cap is a new order.

3. Ordering

A contract exists when Stripe confirms your payment and we send you the order confirmation. We can refuse or refund an order if the brief shows the job is impossible, or if the site is illegal or abusive. We'll refund within 14 days.

4. Prices and tax

Prices are in euro and paid in full up front through Stripe. They are shown before VAT. If VAT applies we show it before you pay, and EU businesses with a valid VAT ID can have it reverse-charged.

Prices are fixed at the moment you pay. We issue the invoice under Italian rules.

5. Delivery and timing

The working-day numbers on a product are targets, not promises. They run from the next working day after we have your brief and working access. Italian public holidays don't count. If you're slow with access or answers, the dates move.

“Delivery” means we send the report, recording or files to the email in your brief.

6. Prepaid months and hour blocks

Prepaid months and hour blocks are a single payment for a fixed number of hours. They don't renew automatically, and we never charge your card again without a new order from you. Unused hours expire: 30, 45 or 60 days for the hour blocks, as shown on the product, and 30 days for the prepaid months, counted from the start date we confirm.

7. What we need from you

  • An accurate brief.
  • Content and sites you're allowed to have us review and change.
  • Permission to audit your site and, where the job includes it, change it.
  • A backup before any change we make.
  • Access shared through the method we send after payment. Never put passwords in the brief or in an email. We may ask for read-only or editor access, not your main login.

We never ask for your payment card.

8. No promised results

Nobody controls rankings, traffic, leads or AI citations. Google, the other search engines and the AI assistants decide, and they change how they decide. What we commit to is the work in your order, at the scope and cap shown, and clear reporting on it.

No schema field or batch of pages can force an AI assistant to recommend you. We work to improve your chances of being cited, and we show you what we checked.

Some short-term movement after a migration is normal, and we can't promise there won't be any.

9. Your licence to our work

The reports, recordings, copy and redirect maps we deliver are licensed to you for use in your own business, from the moment you've paid. The licence is non-exclusive. Copy we write for you can be exclusive if we agree that in writing. We keep our methods, templates and know-how. The site, the free page check and their design are ours.

10. Your accounts

You own your Search Console, Analytics, Business Profile and CMS accounts. We're added as a user. When the job ends, access is removed.

11. AI tools

We may use AI tools to help with research or a first draft. A person checks and edits everything we deliver.

We don't buy links to pass ranking signals. Any sponsored placement is labelled.

13. Liability

Our liability for any one order is capped at the fees you paid for that order. The cap doesn't apply where the law doesn't allow it, including intent and gross negligence. We aren't responsible for decisions made by search engines, AI assistants or other platforms, for changes made by those platforms, or for changes made to your site after our advice by someone other than us.

14. Data protection

We handle your contact and billing data under our privacy notice. When you give us access to your analytics or accounts, we handle that data under your instructions. We'll sign a short data processing addendum on request.

Privacy notice

15. Confidentiality

We keep your brief, your access and your deliverables confidential, and we don't publish them or name you as a client without your written permission. Exceptions are where the law requires disclosure.

16. The free page check

You can use the free page check on pages you own or have permission to test. Don't use it to scan other people's systems, to flood a site, or to reach private networks. We rate-limit it and may block abuse. The result is a quick read of public markup, not an audit, and it comes with no promise of any result.

17. Other terms

If one part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stay in force. Neither side is responsible for a delay caused by something outside its control. These terms are in English, and the English text governs.

18. Changes

We may change these terms. A change applies to orders placed after it, not to orders already placed.

19. Complaints

Write to main@challengemyseo.com. We aim to reply within 14 days.

20. Governing law and courts

Italian law applies. For business customers, the courts of Verona have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rules that say otherwise. Nothing in these terms limits any right that the law doesn't allow us to exclude.
